After repairs and painting were finished, I was quite happy with the car... it handled excellently and went sideways at will, looked cool and was making about 140-150hp at the flywheel worked out from a program based on my 0-400m timeslips from Meremere dragway just outside of Auckland, NZ. |

My best time posted was at night time and was 15.883 @ 87mph. The modifications to the car were K&N pod filter, extractors and 2 1/4" exhaust system. I was quite happy with the time. Then an opportunity came up for me to purchase a TURBO manifold and TURBO through a friend of mine for $500 NZ ($230 US)... so as you can expect I bought it with the help of my girlfriend (thanks charlotte). |
